Metabolic syndrome is a combination of medical conditions that increases the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It is a very common and dangerous medical problem.
Basically, if you're overweight, have high bloodpressure and are prediabetic, you're at risk. But, the good news is that if you get regular activity, like a good brisk walk, lose weight and eat healthier foods, you can prevent getting this syndrome. And it's not too late to start.
