Seems I've been hearing a lot about Vitamin D deficiency these days. I don't get out every day -- chained to my computer most days, but when I do, I don't always use sunscreen right away. I take a calcium supplement with 200 IU of Vit D. I guess that's not quite enough, is it.

No Denise,
Vit D is involved as much with brain activity as it is with bones. Because we originally thought it might be toxic, we set our standards too low just high enough to prevent ricketts. Much more is needed than originally anticipated. I would aim for 1000IU per day.
