Over the last few months I've slowed down on my running routine and I'm paying for it now. Due to travel and other challenges, I wasn't very consistent. But, I'm committed to getting back in my running routine again.
I have managed to stick to my most of my Sunday runs. But, I was blowing off my Wednesday runs because I was feeling fatigued, stressed and unhappy. Intellectually, I know that if I had actually done the runs, I would have felt better, but I couldn't seem to drag myself out the door.
This week, I've done 3 runs! Sunday I did the Run for Her 5K race (thanks for your support in my fundraising!). My pace was OK, 11:35/min since I was being pulled along by my running buddies and the energy of the race.
Tuesday I did a 30 minute run and last night I did another 36 minute run. I'm keeping up a good pace at a sub 12 minute mile and my endurance is coming back.
